Install the W4A Key app, turn on the device and follow the association process shown in the app.
During the initial setup, keep the phone close to the device and confirm that Bluetooth is active.
With the Installer profile, go to the Device tab of the desired equipment and open the communication options.
Keep the name and password of the new Wi-Fi network with you.
Yes. When you are near the equipment, you can use Bluetooth or Wi-Fi to communicate locally.
Remote features require a network connection and the corresponding configuration.
Bluetooth: lets you control the device locally when you are nearby.
Wi-Fi: lets you communicate with the device over the same network, providing greater range.
Remote access: requires an active service and lets you control the device over the internet.
Open the device in the app and go to user management. You can create users, change their permissions or remove existing access.
After creating a user, share their credentials so they can sign in and access the device.
In user management, select the user and configure the periods when access should be available. Check the changes before submitting them and exiting.
After signing in with your credentials, configure a command so that it appears in the Home menu. When you want to operate the gate, select the available command.
The device only performs the action if the user is authorised and a compatible connection is available.
Yes. You can manage multiple devices in the same app. Each device keeps its own profiles and permissions.
Installer profile: perform the factory reset procedure described in the instruction manual. This deletes the device's data and settings, and the device will need to be configured again.
User profile: ask the profile creator to reset the password. If this option is unavailable, you will need to ask the creator to delete the current profile and create a new one.
To protect access to the device, choose the most suitable option:
End active sessions: sign in on another phone and use the option to clear sessions. The password will need to be entered again on all devices.
Change the password: sign in on another phone and change the password to prevent access with the previous credentials.
Delete the profile: sign in on another phone and delete your profile. The profile creator will need to create a new profile so that you can access the device again.
If you cannot sign in, ask the profile creator to remove your access and create a new profile so that you can access the device again.
Check that the device is powered on, move the phone closer and make sure Bluetooth and the required app permissions are enabled.
Close and reopen the app before searching again.
Install the app on the new phone and sign in with your credentials on all the devices you want to use. The devices and their associated access should become available.
If necessary, configure your custom commands again.
Check that you are authorised to execute the command and that the device is online or within Bluetooth range.
Also check the power supply and the connection to the gate automation system before trying again.
